Virtual session presentations

Invited, focus, & oral

All presenters are encouraged to log in and create a profile on the virtual platform and mobile app through the Speaker Console. Having a profile will help attendees find and connect with you during the conference. The Speaker Console is also where you will find the personalized Zoom links for your assigned presentations during April Meeting.

Registration

Virtual presenters must be registered for April Meeting. In addition, to access the Speaker Console your registration email and abstract email must match.

Technology testing

Log in and test your technology at least three (3) business days before your presentation. The Join Practice Session link will activate three (3) days before your assigned session.

Presenting live

On the day of your presentation, log in to the Speaker Console at least 30 minutes before your session. Go to My Sessions, select the appropriate one, and then click the “Join Live Session” button.

Do not upload a video to be played if you cannot make your session. If you prefer to present by video, you may play the video from your personal computer and then be available for live Q&A.

Please note: we cannot test technology while other talks are ongoing.

Audience interaction

Audience questions will be asked aloud or submitted via chat and read to you by the session chair.

Review Virtual Presentation Best Practices.

The poster session will be moderated by a session chair.
