Session chair responsiblities

In-person and virtual session chairs play an important role by providing presenter introductions, keeping time, and moderating audience questions.

Exhibit hall

At the exhibit hall, you can find countless products and services to assist you in your lab, as well as meet APS staff and learn about how they can assist you in advancing your career, advocating for issues you care about, and more.

Graduate school fair

Learn about graduate school opportunities by talking firsthand with representatives from various graduate programs from around the world.

The graduate school fair is part of Future of Physics Days (FPD) undergraduate events, which help students get the most out of April Meeting through interactive workshops, professional development activities, and career discovery.

The April Meeting 2024 experience

April Meeting 2024 will allow attendees and presenters the choice between an in-person or virtual experience. Join us for an extra special week as we celebrate the 125th anniversary of APS.

The in-person meeting

Join the physics community in Sacramento, California, April 3 - 6 , 2024.

The virtual meeting

Join the physics community online to participate virtually in select in-person sessions as well as virtual-only presentations.
